Vidia loves to be the best at things - Particularly, she loves to be the best at flying, and flying fast. Nothing brings her more joy or pride, and she focuses on it to the point of obsession. While confident in her abilities as they are, she still constantly pushes herself to be better and faster. Vidia truly wouldn't know what to do with herself is she, for some reason, couldn't fly. It is her very reason for being. She cares about being best in other areas, too, but generally only areas she has ease with. She dismisses anything that gives her trouble by doing her best to simply not care about it.
Now, to be perfectly to the point, Vidia is a nasty young witch. She loves how others react when she throws around insults, sarcasm, and disrespect. She believes herself to be far better than others, and is highly judgmental. She's a loner, and never much bothers with being friendly - Though she does love to use petnames. Still, her tone always makes it clear that she isn't using these phrases out of any fondness. Vidia is extremely self-assured and it takes a great deal to make her doubt herself. She hates anyone she perceives as a threat, and will stop at nothing to sabotage them. She is not at all afraid of foul play. Still, to a certain extent, Vidia does like a bit of challenge - As long as she's sure she'll ultimately come out on top.
And yet, behind all the attitude and her condescending ways, Vidia actually can be brought to care about others. She's capable of feeling guilt, albeit rarely, and this can drive her to go to great lengths to fix whatever she's done wrong. And when she develops a fondness for someone, she'll be... Still not particularly friendly, but polite enough. She can even be driven to look out for someone, especially if they've helped her in the past. Deep down, though it's never made clear, it's probably safe to assume that Vidia doesn't want to be alone so much of the time. She does, after all, have a heart.

Vidia Felta Eyre was born in Plumtree, Rushcliffe, in Nottinghamshire, England, to the wizarding family of Gail and David Eyre. When she was still rather young, she received her first children’s broom, and on that showed promise. When she was nine, her parents decided to buy her a Bluebottle. Vidia would participate in and often win games of Shuntbumps with other wizarding kids in the area. Her greatest area of skill, however, was flying fast.
When Vidia was eleven, her letter from Hogwarts arrived, just as the young witch had expected it to. She was more than ready to go off to the school, eager to prove herself the talented witch she simply knew she would be. She adapted well enough to school life, not particularly trying to make friends, preferring her own company to that of other students. However, she found that all of her classes did not come as easily as she expected, which frustrated her a bit. Her solution to this was to put all of her energy into flying - Although she sneered at the idea of playing Quidditch and being part of a team. Rather, she would fly around when practice or games weren’t going on, enjoying the sensation of going as fast as she could, a feeling that proved more accessible when her parents sent her a Firebolt for her twelfth birthday. (While Vidia strongly believes she is the best and fastest flier in the school and will not be convinced otherwise, this is certainly not necessarily true - Although she is quite good.)
Unsurprisingly, Vidia does remarkably well in Flying class. As far as her other classes go, she generally does anywhere from well to well enough to get by, although she’s really quite bad in Herbology. In addition to her required classes, Vidia takes Ancient Runes and Care of Magical Creatures.
